Rates & Payment
Individual and/or Family Therapy
Francesca Riddell, LMFT- $175 per session. Office located in Rancho Bernardo.
Sara Walpole, LMFT- $200 per session. Office located in Encinitas.
PEERS® Rates
$185 for assessment
$185 per group meeting (12 weeks)
Total for PEERS®= $2,405
San Diego Regional Center (SDRC)
We are a vendor of SDRC. If your teen or young adult is a member of San Diego Regional Center and would like to go through SDRC for funding, you can reach out to your teen or young adult’s service coordinator to ask for a PEERS® referral for Tesserae Family Therapy.
Self-Determination Program (SDP)
We accept Self Determination. If your teen or young adult has Self Determination, you will first need a referral for PEERS® from their service coordinator at SDRC, and if approved, your teen or young adult can use funding for PEERS® through Self Determination.
Insurance
We currently do not accept insurance, however we are happy to provide you with a “Superbill”. A Superbill is given to the client after paying for the service out of pocket. The client can submit this to his/her insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. We also accept payment directly through our secure billing system through Simple Practice.
Payment for individual/family therapy is charged at end of each session.
Payment is due in full before start of first PEERS group. Alternative payment installment option for group is available upon request.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
