Sara Walpole, LMFT
What I love about my work is encouraging and empowering children, teens and families. For the last 20 years the focus of my practice has been working with children, teens and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental challenges. It has been my passion to help families by addressing difficult behaviors, emotional struggles and to provide support through life changes. Outside of receiving my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, I have also received additional training in Multidimensional Family Therapy from the University of Miami. I have honed my practice by becoming a certified provider of the UCLA Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®). As the teen facilitator of this group for 8 years, I have had the opportunity to assist those who struggle to make and keep friends. Together we work to develop concrete social skills as well as create social opportunities. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your goals!
I see clients in person and virtually. My office address is: 169 Saxony Rd. #111 Encinitas, CA 92024
