Do you struggle with making and keeping friends? Do you find yourself disconnected from others and lonely? Have you tried different ways of socializing that ends up causing you frustration and feeling rejected? Learning social skills can be hard.
We know seeking help can feel scary. Some people feel anxiety, shame, and embarrassment by reaching out. You’re not alone! Many people struggle to connect socially, and others find it even harder to figure out practical ways to get help.
Together we can work to help equip you with the necessary skills to face and overcome your social challenges in efforts toward making and keeping friends. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, social difficulties, or communication issues, it is important to know you’re not alone!
Research shows that the quality of close friendships is related to happiness. One reason why friendship quality is related to happiness is because friendship experiences provide a context where basic needs are satisfied (Demir et all 2007).
“The best time to make friends is before you need them.” – Ethel Barrymore
Our goal is to teach our clients skills based on research, to learn how to make and keep friends. If you’re ready to start forming new skills to learn how to make and keep lasting friendships, we’re ready to connect when you are.
